03 numbers work in exactly the same way as other non-geographic numbers except they cost the same to call as standard 01/02 landline numbers and are even included in the free calls with many landline and mobile packages, so they are cheaper/free to call, even from mobiles.

How much do 03 numbers cost to call?
Calls to 03 numbers are included within landline and mobile bundles, meaning that for many callers there won't be any cost. The more recognisable free phone 0800 number is free from a landline, but carry costs when called from mobiles.
Will I have to sign up to a minimum contract with 08Direct?
At no point will you be asked to sign up to a minimum contract, you are free to cancel your account at any time. However, please be aware when taking out a pay monthly package you will be billed in arrears. This means that once you cancel, you final payment will be made at the end of the following month.
Do I need to change my existing phone number?
Non geographic numbers are simply forwarded to a landline or mobile of your choice (depending on the package you have selected). All you need to do is provide us with your 'target; number, which can be easily changed.
Do I need to purchase any hardware?
All the hardware you need is a telephone! All the additional hardware you need to setup a non geographic number is located in our secure premises. You don't need to make any additional investments to start using your number. We don't charge setups fees or installation costs, and your account will be activated within 24 hours.
Can I forward my 03 number to my mobile?
All our numbers can be forwarded to a mobile, though we have separate mobile and landline packages. As it costs us more money to forward calls to your mobile, our mobile packages include a higher monthly payment.
How long will it take to setup my number?
New numbers can be live within 24 hours, though this does depend on you sending us the paperwork. You will need to fax, email or post your direct debit and package order form to us before we can activate the account.
How will I know when my new 03 number is being used?
When you register your new number you will be sent a username and password for CodeBlueStats, this is our online portal where customers can view their call statistics. Within the portal you can manage all elements of your calls, which includes your number of calls and inbound minutes.
