That's why we offer many numbers and services for free, but some carry a small charge. We can't stand hidden charges, so anything that costs you money is explained here on the site. How can the call management services be free?
Once your new 0845 number has been activated, and you start receiving calls, we make our money from the cost the caller incurs. This covers the cost of our call management features, such as the welcome message and auto attendant.
Am I required to sign up to a minimum contract?
We don't do minimum contracts; in fact we don't do contracts at all! You are free to cancel your account with us whenever you wish. Though, if your taking out a package with a monthly payment attached, please note that we bill in arrears. Meaning, if you decided to cancel, your final payment will be at the end of the following month.
Do I need to change my phone number?
At 08Direct we can forward your new non geographic number to any landline or mobile of your choice (depending on the package you choose). The target number can be changed at any time, so if you do change business premises or get a new mobile number, you can instantly change the target of your 08 number.
Does my company need to invest in new hardware?
All the hardware you need is located in our secure premises. To start receiving calls all you need to do is provide us with your destination number, and sign the paperwork!
Can my 08 number be forwarded to my mobile phone?
All our numbers can be forwarded to a landline or mobile number of your choice. Though, our mobile packages are more expensive as it costs us more money to direct your calls at your mobile phone.
Once I have registered, how long does it take to setup my number(s)?
Once we have received your order confirmation, we can have your new number setup and live within 24 hours. If you have selected a package with a monthly cost, we will need all the relevant paper work sent to us before we can activate your account.
How will I know when my number is being used?
All 08Direct customers are given access to CodeBlueStats, which is our complete call management portal. Once you have received your unique login details you will be able to view your live call statistics, which includes how many calls you've received and how long each call lasted.
