How are you able to provide an 0844 number and all the additional services for free?
When someone calls your 0844 number the small charge they receive covers the cost of hosing your number and the cost incurred from setting up all the services for your business.
All that we ask is for you to change the number on your website, and start advertising your new number.
Is there a minimum contract when directing to a landline?
No.. We give our numbers and services away for free when directed to a landline (not including free phone numbers.) If you are unhappy, you can cancel your number within thirty days without incurring any cost.
Can I keep my existing numbers?
Absolutely. Non geographic numbers simply forward to your landline or mobile phone number. There is no limit to the amount of phone numbers you can have directed to the same target.
Do I need to purchase any hardware?
No, all hardware is hosted at our secure premises. You are not required to make any financial investment to start taking advantage of our (08) numbers. This also means that there are no installation costs, training costs or insurance as this is already supplied, supported and covered by us.
Can you direct calls to mobile phones?
Any one of our numbers can be directed to a mobile phone, however there are costs involved. If you would like to direct a (08) number to a mobile, please take a look at our mobile package options (see the number range pages on our website.)
How long does it take to setup my new number(s)?
New numbers are live within 24 hours. Freephone numbers and numbers redirected to a mobile will require confirmation with one of our account managers regarding package options.
How do I know if my number is being used?
When you register a (08) number with 08Direct, you will receive a username and password for CodeBlueStats - our online call management and call statistics platform. In CodeBlueStats, you will be able to see how many calls your number is receiving and their duration in near real-time as well as historically.
You can access this at www.codebluestats.co.uk, our designated website which provides you with the administration of your numbers. From this website you can track the number of calls, duration and update the 'Target' destination of your number(s).
