Telecoms regulator Ofcom has confirmed that they plan to change the way some non-geographic numbers are charged, making it clearer for consumers to understand call charging rates.
As it stands, the current charging system can be unclear for consumers to know how much it would cost to call various non-geo number ranges, so these changes aim to ‘tackle consumer confusion’.

Chris Moyles - ranted about Radio 1's 03 number
Driving into work this morning, the sun was shining, the birds were singing and, as usual, I had the Chris Moyles Show on the radio. Now, Moyles likes to talk but one particular link caught my attention when he had to read out Radio 1’s telephone number so that listeners could call the show.
Now it isn’t unusual for him to have a bit of a rant, but in this case Moyles vented an opinion that he thinks Radio 1’s phone number is, frankly, rubbish. And he’s got a point because most radio stations use a phone number that has something to do with either their broadcasting frequency or the name of the station. But Radio 1’s number is 03700 100 100.

Confession iphone app
We’re all increasingly time-poor and technology helps us to get things done more quickly so we can cram more into our daily lives.
And the launch of a new iPhone app, which has the blessing of the Catholic Church, highlights just how much technology has permeated every aspect of our lives. But this app takes things to a new level as it actually helps Catholics to engage in their faith by guiding them through confession!
Don’t worry we’re not about to pass judgment on the app or get into a religious debate, but it did start us thinking about guilt free communications.
