Prank calls are possibly the funniest things to listen too, but not so fun when you are on the receiving end.
From television stations and radio shows to the average Joe Bloggs, everyone is jumping on the prank call band wagon and we listeners just can’t get enough of it.
Now just so you know, we are neither promoting nor encouraging you to make prank calls to people you don’t like or want to wind up, we want you to have a little laugh, because the prank calls we have listened too are, absolutely hilarious!
And it is so easy to view thousands of them online, however finding the best one’s is the hardest trick of them all.
But don’t you worry your little self.
Yes we at 08Direct have worked (and laughed!) our damned hardest to find you the funniest prank calls ever to be made.
Now before you read on we would like to give you a little advice on how to watch these videos and when to watch them. You should:
• Set yourself aside a good 45 minutes to view all of these videos.
• Make yourself a glass of water and sip AFTER each video has been watched. This is for two reasons. One we don’t want you to get dehydrated while laughing so much and two it is best to drink after the video rather than during as we don’t want you choking with laughter and then file a law suit against us.
• Make sure you are in a place where you can hear them clearly; so no crisps, or noisy people around you, you do NOT want to miss a single word.

Chinese takeaway ordering a Chinese takeaway
Somehow this smart radio DJ orders a Chinese from one takeaway and then gets them to order from a different Chinese takeaway. Very funny!

So this guy calls a dating agency to post an advertisement to try and get a girlfriend, while crunching an apple and crisps really loudly, speaking of his unemployment, lack of car and the fact that he lives at home with his parents. Perfect dating material, we think not!
Hi I am six, can you demolish my school please?
We are not 100 per cent sure whether this is real or fake, but whatever it is it’s absolutely hilarious. A six year old calls a demolishing company in Ireland to ask whether they can blow up her school. I think it is her cute little accent that makes it sound even funnier.

To really get your victim of a prank call believing every word you say is one thing, but to get them laughing at you despite them thinking you are for real makes it even funnier.
This guy is trying to make a reservation at a hotel and the receptionist cannot stop laughing at his stupid questions and fake accent.
Telemarketer accused of murder
Comedian Tom Mabe makes a living winding up telemarketers, and boy does he do it well! Here is one of his finest moments when Mabe records a telephone conversation with a telemarketer quizzing him out to being a possible suspect in a murder case.

This was a prank call made by an American radio station to a Christian book shop, asking for a thick book that has two parts to it, and includes Matthew, Mark, Luke and John….and the “Christian” has no idea which book he means. Very funny!
Hi dad, I am your long lost child
This is very funny and had us in fits of laughter. This guy pretends to be a woman and calls this poor man in America on numerous occasions saying that he is her father.
ASDA: “Tesco’s is cheaper than ASDA”
Possibly one of our favourite prank calls out of the whole lot. A radio station in South Africa manages to get a shop assistant at the ASDA in Cheltenham, UK to say ‘Tesco’s is cheaper’…over the tannoy.
