1. Why are your Gold/Silver numbers so cheap?
“Buy Direct” and miss out the middle man. Unlike most suppliers who are simply reselling numbers and products, we are a network supplier. In simple terms, this means we are one of a few companies who are licensed by Ofcom to actually supply numbers and services from our own Manchester Exchange. In fact a lot of our local competitors source their products from us!

2. Is it really Free?
Our bronze numbers are absolutely free! No hidden costs or service charges unlike other resellers in the market.

3. How long does this take to setup?
When you call in a working hours 9:00 a.m – 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday excluding Bank holidays – the setup takes place within 24 hours of submitting your number request online or with a sales advisor.

4. Are there any setup fees or service charges?
There are no hidden costs and that means we don’t charge anything for setting up your number or any extra service charges.

The only amount you pay is for your Silver, Gold and Platinum numbers and the price is the lowest you can find on 08 numbers! We guarantee unbeatably low prices!

5. Do I make any money from the calls?
Yes, you can make money off the following numbers:

0871 National Rate numbers up to 7 pence per minute
0872 National Rate numbers up to 7 pence per minute
0845 Local Rate numbers up to 1 pence per minute
0844 Local Rate numbers up to 1 pence per minute

6. What are the call charges to the customer?
It’s not 08 Direct that dictates the call charges to the customer, it is under the discretion of Ofcom

7. Can I forward calls to mobile phones?
Yes, we will forward calls to any mobile phone for more information

8. Can I place orders on the telephone?

9 . I don't know my landline number?
Not a problem! All you need to do is email or call us and give us at least one of the current 08 number you are using and wish to replace and we can trace your landline number!

10. Can 08 numbers be used for fax?

11. How does the voicemail work?
If you use the services of 08 DIRECT for voicemail. You can collect your voicemail anywhere in the world by dialing in a unique 0871 number.

12. Is there a minimum contract length?
No, there is no minimum contract length with 08 Direct. We do not bind you for any duration unlike other companies who have a minimum of 6 – 12 months contract period.
