The challenge

Bloom in Business was founded by three Yorkshire Business Women who identified a gap in the market for a fun, creative, relaxed environment where businesses could meet, learn and bloom.

Disillusioned with the typically unproductive, run of the mill business events, their mission is to create a UK-wide series of regional business events that provide businesses with an effective and enjoyable networking and promotional forum. In addition to these events, they also publish Bloom In Business Magazine, a regional publication showcasing local businesses to the local business community.

As a new start-up which helps business people to connect and also promotes the benefits of good business practice, Bloom in Business was keen to present an ultra-professional image but without the high start-up costs usually associated with advanced call management services. They also needed to replace individual mobile numbers with a single number that improved their efficiency and gave them a national presence.

The solution

Bloom in Business selected a memorable 0844 number from 08 Direct and enhanced it with voicemail to email, call whisper and a professionally recorded welcome message to give callers a really efficient, professional service.

The results

Bloom In Business now uses its 0844 number exclusively and is delighted with the results. By using the number they have managed to convert more sales as they have been able to answer every call, whereas when they just used mobiles they did sometimes miss them.
